The Department of Philosophy at Georgetown University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-line position at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor, to begin in August 2027 . Area Of Specialization: Philosophy of Law Area Of Concentration: Ethics, Political Philosophy The teaching load is 3 courses per semester . Teaching will be split between Georgetown’s Hilltop campus and the new Capitol campus. The position is 90% teaching and 10% service, with no research requirements for contract renewal. Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Philosophy is required prior to appointment start date. Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching in the specified areas.
