Job Description: The Department of Psychology and Counseling at Immaculata University invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure-track Adjunct Instructor. The successful individual will have expertise or interest in teaching statistics and would be willing to teach a dual enrollment course at one of Immaculata University's partner high schools. Courses may be offered on the University's campus, online, or at a partner high school. Dual enrollment courses are typically offered during the early morning hours at the partner high school. Responsibilities: Develop and deliver course instruction consistent with course objectives Prepare syllabi, instructional materials, lectures, activities, and other course resources appropriate to the assigned course and modality. Develop, administer, and grade assignments and examinations in order to measure student learning and course outcomes. Develop a supportive and engaging atmosphere with students to support their learning and success. Maintain accurate course records, submit grades and required documentation in accordance with University deadlines. Teach a dual enrollment course, if assigned, by providing instruction at an Immaculata University partner high school during the designated early-morning period and maintain communication and coordination with University and high school personnel. Requirements: Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in psychology or related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to student learning and academic excellence. Preferred Requirements: Experience teaching high school students, dual enrollment courses, or other early-college programs. Experience with online or technology-enhanced instruction. Demonstrated ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds and learning experiences.
