Part-Time Faculty: EDU 516 - Equitable Assessment for Inclusive Classrooms (Spring 2027) Location: Syracuse, NY Pay Range: $2,084.07 - $2,146.59 per credit hour Pay Determination: Salary offers at Syracuse University will be based on education, experience, and relevant skills, as well as the academic or professional discipline of the position in the context of the home department, school, or college. Salary offers may also be influenced by prior relevant work or industry experience, where applicable. Faculty pay ranges are for 8.5 months' salary unless otherwise specified. Job Type: Part Time Rank: PTI/Adjunct Campus: Syracuse, NY Unionized Position Code: UA Job Description: The School of Education seeks Part-Time Faculty to teach EDU 516 Equitable Assessment for Inclusive Classrooms (3 Credits) Exploration of equitable, inclusive, and antiracist perspectives on assessment. Use of formal and informal approaches to document growth for students with and without disabilities, evaluate instructional effectiveness, and adjust curriculum and instruction. Qualifications:Masters Degree, Ph. D. preferred. Job Specific Qualifications: Responsibilities: Developing and/or updating a class syllabus. Ordering the appropriate books and materials in advance of the class start date. Preparation of lectures, projects or other student assignments. Meeting all designated class periods. If you are unable to meet your class due to illness or emergency, you should exercise your best effort to move to a synchronous or asynchronous option. You must also notify the faculty director, graduate studies of your absence and of your plan to cover the class. Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the course.
