ID 2026-2759 Position Type Adjunct Category Faculty Overview The faculty will be responsible for educational leadership and student instruction on a part-time basis in accounting. Qualifications EDUCATIONBachelor's Degree in a discipline directly related to the identified instructional area. Required Master's Degree in related discipline. Preferred CPA and/or Professional Accounting Credential. Preferred EXPERIENCEThree (3) years teaching and/or practical work experience in the area of instruction. Preferred ABILITIES AND SKILLSExpertise with the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial statement preparation and analysis. Required Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and other data analysis and accounting software. Required Ability to teach one or more courses in business administration/accounting. Required Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with students, staff, faculty, and the public. Required Sensitivity to the expectations of students, faculty, and staff. Required Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form. Required Developed organizational skills. Required Demonstrated sensitivity to diversity and multicultural issues. Required Ability and willingness to teach online if necessary. Required ResponsibilitiesInstruct and evaluate students in Accounting and/or other related areas. Maintain accurate written records of Student performance. Complete official Student rosters and return to School office as required. Participate in School assessment process. Assist with curriculum review, revision, and development. Maintain office hours according to contractual agreement. Physical Standards and Special Job Features None Pay Transparency The part-time rate for 2026/27 will be the greater of $1180 per credit or $787 per contact hour, prorated for student enrollment under seven.
