The appointment is expected to begin in August 2027.</p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 4.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;color:black"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 4.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;color:black">The successful candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate accounting courses, including large-section accounting courses, engage in course development, and advise students. The successful candidate will also contribute in some or all of the following ways:</p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 4.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;color:black"> </p> <ul> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;color:black">Provide service that supports the administration, operation, and development of the Accounting Department, Mitch Daniels School of Business, Purdue University, and the accounting profession.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;color:black">Develop and manage relationships with external partners and stakeholders.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;color:black">Produce teaching-oriented scholarly work, such as textbooks or publications in educational journals, that promotes the academic reputation of the Accounting Department, Mitch Daniels School of Business, and Purdue University.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Qualification</b></H2> </div><div><p style="background-color:white;margin:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Cambria, serif"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 4.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;color:black">Candidates must have a master’s degree or PhD in Accounting or a closely related field by the start date of the appointment.
