The Child Development & Families Studies department invites applicants to join our efforts in preparing teachers and education professionals, and providing parent education and support services. Instructors are needed in the Non-Credit programs including: Child Development Lab Schools, Parent Participation Pre-K Cooperative, Child Observation classes, Family Resource Center, non credit courses and parent education to support students and parents. Job Duties:Teach in-person noncredit courses to practicum students, parents, interns, field work students, student observers, assistants, and other adults at any of our campuses and in a variety of community locations. Programs include: child observation classes, lab schools, parent participation pre-k cooperative, family resource center and parent education that include young children (ages birth - 5 years). Plan curriculum and organize the environment for parent education, practicum and lab aid students and laboratory child development settings for children. Teach in-person day, evening, and/or Saturday classes at various campuses/sites as required, and be available to substitute as needed in a variety of non credit programs with varying schedules.
