About this position
The Adjunct Instructor, Business Law, is responsible for providing high-quality instruction in assigned business law-related courses and ethics courses on a part-time, temporary basis. The instructor facilitates student learning through effective teaching practices, curriculum delivery, assessment of student performance, and engagement in activities that support student success. Instruction and Student Success • Deliver effective, engaging instruction using appropriate teaching methods and technologies. • Prepare thoroughly for each class session and instructional hour. • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance. • Grade assignments, assessments, and examinations and provide timely feedback. • Counsel and advise students regarding course performance, progress, and academic success Foster a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment. Course Development and Assessment • Develop and maintain instructional materials that support course outcomes and College standards. • Design course schedules, learning activities, and assessments aligned with approved curriculum. Utilize assessment data and best practices to improve teaching effectiveness and student learning outcomes. Ensure course content remains current, relevant, and aligned with industry trends and employer needs. Collaborate with faculty and staff to maintain program quality and instructional consistency.
