<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Summary</b></H2> </div><div><p>The Department of Behavioral Sciences is seeking applications for Limited Term Lecturers (LTLs) in Behavioral Sciences. LTL positions are temporary, non-benefits eligible, part-time positions hired each semester on an as-needed basis.<br><br></p> <p>The Primary Responsibilities of successful candidates will be to:<br><br></p> <ul> <li>Teach on campus and/or online courses in sociology or statistics.</li> <li>Follow the syllabus and curricula provided.</li> <li>Maintain office hours and provide feedback to students in a timely manner.</li> <li>Maintain FERPA and Title X certification.</li> <li>Assist with program-related duties and administrative tasks, including placement, orientation, proctoring, student evaluations, curriculum and program review.</li> <li>Understand and adhere to University policies and guidelines.</li> <li>Have competency in effective and appropriate in-person and online (synchronous and asynchronous) delivery instruction.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Education, Experience, Training and/or Certifications</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Master’s degree in Sociology or a related field (minimum 18 hours of graduate work in Sociology)</li> <li>Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Demonstrated experience teaching at the college level or relevant professional experience</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to communicate both orally and in writing in English</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Purdue University Northwest
