About this position
The University of Chicago's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank to join our team as academic urogynecologists. Appointees will be responsible for providing outstanding clinical and surgical care to women with pelvic floor disorders. Appointees will provide consultation and surgical services at UChicago's main campus in Hyde Park and one of the other UCM satellite URPS clinics. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of Urogynecology fellows, OB/GYN residents, and medical students, as well as scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications. This position is benefits-eligible. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be board eligible or board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology as well as Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, 4) have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology or Urology, and 5) have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Uro
