This is a 9-month academic appointment that will commence on January 4, 2027. Exceptional candidates who are not available to begin in January may also be considered for a Fall 2027 start.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Doctoral degree in engineering or technology, construction engineering, construction management or related field is required by the start of employment.</li> <li>Experience working in the construction engineering/technology field is preferred.</li> <li>Undergraduate degree must be in a relevant area.</li> <li>Candidates with documentation of teaching in a group learning environment and developing industry-relevant laboratory experiments, such as past teaching reviews or awards, are encouraged to apply</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in various construction management engineering technology and civil engineering technology subjects/fields.</li> <li>Conduct scholarly research leading to refereed journal publications, writing grant proposals.</li> <li>Participate in industrial engagement and various committees.</li> <li>Interacting with regional businesses are encouraged.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Research Expectations</b></H2> </div><div><p>The Department of Construction Science and Organizational Leadership offers full support when presenting peer review papers at conferences.
