Posting Number: 20163204F Job Description We are accepting applications for adjunct instructors for potential openings for courses in American Sign Language in the Department of Hearing, Speech and Language Sciences for fall and spring semesters of Academic Year (AY) 2026-2027. Applications to this pool will be considered to fill part-time, non-tenure track, non-benefits eligible instructor positions at the Athens campus. The teaching workload will vary based on departmental teaching needs each semester. When a need arises, the department will select candidates from this posting. For full consideration for AY 2026-2027 fall semester please apply by Aug 1, 2026. For full consideration for AY 2026-2027 spring semester, apply by Dec 15, 2026. Minimum Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Deaf Studies, ASL education, ASL Studies, cultural anthropology or closely related field by the start date. Proficiency in ASL Applicants will be required to complete an in-house ASL Assessment. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching ASL Master's degree in Deaf Studies
