Job SummaryThe Part-Time Nursing Faculty position is an on location, non-tenure track faculty member who serves as an educator-practitioner within the Department of /nursing. This position is primarily responsible for providing high-quality didactic, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction in undergraduate evening nursing courses as qualified by education and institutional requirements. The Part-Time Nursing Faculty position supports the teaching and service mission of the department through excellence in instruction, student advising, curriculum development, program evaluation, and participation in accreditation continuous quality improvement activities. Faculty are expected to maintain current clinical competence, professional licensure, and professional development consistent with contemporary nursing practices. Sponsorship is not available for this position. ResponsibilitiesTeach assigned didactic, laboratory, simulation, and clinical nursing courses. Develop, implement, and evaluate course content and learning activities consistent with program outcomes, accreditation standards, and evidence-based nursing practice. Assess student learning and provide timely feedback regarding academic and clinical performance. Advise and mentor students regarding academic progress, licensure preparation, and professional development.
