Part-Time Instructor - Physical Therapist Asst Program The Blinn College District is searching for a Part-Time Instructor - Physical Therapist Asst Program at our RELLIS Campus. Primary Duties and Responsibilities are listed below: Job Summary The Physical Therapist Assistant Faculty/Instructor teaches Physical Therapist Assistant courses in the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Program as scheduled, following the course description, outline and syllabus established. The faculty/instructor will provide input for curriculum development, student advising, and participation in program and institutional development. In addition, PTA faculty/instructor may assist with coordination and supervisionof the clinical training portion of the program. Principal AccountabilitiesTeach assigned courses following the course syllabus and outline. Prepare all necessary lecture and/or lab material, course syllabus including objectives and competencies, exams and lab practicals for courses taught utilizing instructional materials and methods appropriate for the subject matter. Participate in supervision of student performance in the lab teaching area,to include evaluations and grading of course work that supports the course. Have a thorough knowledge of physical therapy and related health fields and be able to present material well in a classroom/laboratory situation. Provide input to the director and perform a periodic review of the educational program, assess the general effectiveness of the program, and ensure continued development and update of the Blinn College PTA Program. Participate in curriculum development, review, and revision as it pertains to classroom and lab experiences. Advise prospective and current PTA students and have a general knowledge of degree requirements, programs, and course transfer information.
