Develops and teaches concepts and strategies for a variety of courses. May require teaching courses at MATC campuses, business, community, other sites, evening, and/or weekends. Under the supervision of the Dean, MCT Pathway, to plan and teach related and shop activities in the welding curriculum to include the areas of layout, blueprint reading, fabrication, oxy-fuel welding and cutting, shielded metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, gas metal arc welding, flux-core arc welding with self and gas shielded wires, inspection and testing, and welding math. Characteristic Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare for and deliver instruction and perform teaching-related activities. Manage the classroom/laboratory. Develop curriculum and monitor and revise as appropriate to maintain course effectiveness; assist in program evaluation. Manage equipment, supplies and materials.
