About this position

The Department of Accounting and Business Information Systems is seeking qualified applicants for a Lecturer or Visiting Assistant Professor position in Information Systems beginning [Fall/2026]. This is a one-year, full-time position that has the potential for renewal based on performance and department needs. Qualifications: A master’s degree in information systems or a closely related field (PhD preferred but not required). Industry or teaching experience in Information Systems at the undergraduate level. Ability to teach a variety of core Information Systems courses, such as: Database Management, Systems Analysis & Design, IT Project Management, Enterprise Systems, E-commerce and Business Analytics. Related technical skills in any of the above areas will be considered an advantage (please list them). Preference will also be given to candidates who could also teach in the areas of: Supply Chain Management and Logistics. Responsibilities: Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction in Information Systems courses. Develop and update course materials as needed. Engage in student advising and academic support. Participate in program/departmental service when needed.
