The College has 11 academic departments, 279 faculty, 2896 undergraduate students, and 640 graduate students.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Summary</b></H2> </div><div><p>The Agronomy Department in the College of Agriculture at Purdue University is seeking applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor (full time, academic year appointment with some summer support available) with primary teaching responsibilities in School-Based Agricultural Education teacher preparation. The expected start date is August 17, 2026. This position will be joint with the Department of Curriculum and Instruction in the College of Education. The successful candidate will lead an innovative teaching, engagement and research program focused on the scholarship of teaching and learning. The successful candidate will develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Agricultural Education teacher preparation program, contribute to the scholarship of teaching and learning, and mentor graduate students in this space.
