Advanced Practice Provider (APP)/(PA/NP)/OBGYN/Adjoint Assistant Professor/Part Time Advanced Practice Provider (APP)/(PA/NP)/OBGYN/Adjoint Assistant Professor/Part Time - 40479 Faculty Description University of Colorado Anschutz Department: Obstetrics & Gynecology, Division of Academic Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider (APP)/(PA/NP)/OBGYN/Adjoint Assistant Professor/Part Time Position #: 00850299 - Requisition #: 40479Job Summary: The Division of Academic Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has an opening for a 0.2 part-time faculty at the rank of Adjoint Assistant Professor for a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) to provide inpatient clinical care in obstetrics and gynecology as a member of the University's Women Care (UWC) practice. Inpatient duties include working on labor and delivery one night a week managing obstetric and postpartum patients. This job involves the education of residents, advanced practice providers, and/or medical students. There is a potential for outpatient work although emphasis will initially be on inpatient practice. Job Responsibilities: Successful candidates must demonstrate competency obtaining patient histories, physical examination, and the assessment and development of appropriate plans of care in the Ob-Gyn clinical setting. Candidates must demonstrate effective communication, both orally and in writing, with primary care providers, specialists, and team members to meet the comprehensive needs of patients. Specific duties/skills include, but are not limited to: Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to low and high-risk patients as part of a collaborative team.
