About this Position The Healthcare Management Adjunct Professor delivers foundational and intermediate coursework within the Associate Degree Healthcare Management program. This role is responsible for teaching foundational core courses, operational management principles, leadership, statistics, human resources, and administrative workflows. The position leverages industry leadership, data analytics, or educational management experience to foster student workforce readiness and deliver rigorous digital learning via Canvas. Required Qualifications: Education: Associate or Bachelor Degree and licensure/certification in discipline required (technical program/non-transfer classes). Experience: Must have educational qualifications to teach in subject area or have documented specialty education/experience to meet tested experience requirements, as per the Higher Learning Commission's publication on Determining Qualified Faculty and provide leadership in an academic discipline and/or degree program. A minimum of two (2) years of full-time leadership, administrative, human resources, or operational management experience in an educational, public sector, clinical, or organizational setting. Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge: Professional familiarity with healthcare delivery concepts, medical office leadership, human resources, or health-adjacent administrative frameworks.
