Essential Functions Essential FunctionsTeach Introduction to Music Business, covering topics such as music marketing, copyright, artist management, and emerging industry trends. Foster a dynamic and engaging learning environment that promotes critical thinking and practical application of music business concepts. Provide guidance and mentorship to students interested in pursuing careers in the music industry, helping them develop essential skills and industry insights. Collaborate with department faculty to update curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry standards and emerging technologies. Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their academic and professional growth. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of music industry developments and trends, integrating this information into coursework. Experience & Education The ideal candidate will possess expertise in music industry trends, marketing, copyright, and artist management. Candidates should have a master's degree in music business or a related field, and three years of relevant music industry experience. Strong communication skills and a passion for mentoring aspiring music professionals are essential.
