ADJUNCT - MEDICAL ASSISTING POOL Posting Number: PT3422 Department: Allied Health Position Type: Faculty Employment Status: Adjunct Salary: Adjunct Stipend Open Date: 05/08/2026 Close Date: Job Description Summary: Teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need. Courses may include online courses and/or dual-credit/early college courses. Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree in a health related field. Currently credentialed and in good standing as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). Three (3) years of work experience in a healthcare facility to include at least 160 hours in an ambulatory healthcare setting. Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of documented teaching experience preferred. Special Instructions to Applicants: Applicants must reside in the state of Texas and be eligible to work in the United States. This is a security-sensitive position.
