Adjunct Instructor, COMM 243 Audio/Visual Newsgathering Mechanicsburg, PA, United States Instructor needed for COMM 243 Audio/Visual Newsgathering, Spring 2027 semester This course provides students with the skills and knowledge needed to gather, produce, and present audio and video news content. Students will learn traditional and emerging methods of news gathering, including working with press releases, social media platforms, and field reporting. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning with modern tools and technologies, collaborative group projects, and real-world applications. Employed on a per-load-unit basis for a given semester or term. Sole contracted responsibilities are those activities required in the delivery of a course (e.g., mentoring/coaching, preparation, teaching, grading, office hours). In some instances, there may be some contracted responsibilities for advising, course development or meeting other departmental needs.
