Actual salary is commensurate with the DCE Collective Bargaining Agreement At this time, the College is not providing sponsorships for Visas. North Shore Community College (NSCC) invites applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty in Advanced Manufacturing. This position is part of the Massachusetts Community College Council (MCCC) bargaining unit. The successful candidate will teach one or more courses, including:CAD201 - Introduction to Computer Aided Manufacturing: Solidworks CAM and Fusion360 CAM EGT103 - Introduction to Computer Numerical Control (CNC) EGT202 - Basic Programmable Logic Controller and Automation Systems. With a focus on CNC machining, CAM programming, and manufacturing processes. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Adjunct faculty are responsible for delivering instruction in accordance with established course outlines and institutional standards. Faculty are expected to create an effective learning environment that supports student success and meets workforce and industry expectations in advanced manufacturing. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Provide instruction for assigned courses in accordance with NSCC and MCCC contractual guidelines. Deliver lecture and laboratory instruction in CNC machining, CAM programming, and CAD/CAM integration. Prepare syllabi, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with course outcomes. Demonstrate CNC setup, operation, and programming, including G-code fundamentals. Utilize industry-standard software, including Fusion 360 (CAM) and SolidWorks CAM.
