Actual salary is commensurate with the DCE Collective Bargaining Agreement At this time, the College is not providing sponsorships for Visas. The STEM and Business Division invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach introductory Biology beginning in the Fall 2026 semester. Current openings may be at our Danvers or Lynn campuses. Current offerings are for:BIO101: Biology 1: The Basics of Life An introduction to the basic principles of biology. The course covers the chemistry of the cell, cell structure and function, cell division, genetics and some evolution. The laboratory is designed to enhance lecture and to develop investigative skills. (3 hours of lecture, 2 hours of lab per week) Please refer to the Find Courses link on the College website for addition course information. Other biology courses may be available, and we anticipate offerings in future semesters. Assignments may include daytime or evening classes at our campuses or at high school throughout the region. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Teach courses- in lecture and in lab- as assigned by the Division Dean. Prepare course syllabi, proctor and grade course assessments for both lecture and laboratory as scheduled, report final student grades, and complete student alerts by the specified dates each semester.
