ADJUNCT - DENTAL ASSISTING POOL Posting Number: PT363 Department: Dental and Imaging Technology Position Type: Faculty Employment Status: Adjunct Salary: Adjunct Stipend Open Date: 11/12/2025 Close Date: Job Description Summary: The purpose of this position is to teach and/or assist in assigned dental assisting courses, labs, and clinic sites and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community. Minimum Qualifications: Education:Associate's degree if instructing a lab or clinical. Bachelor's degree if instructing a didactic course. Three (3) years of clinical experience in the field using four-handed dentistry skills. Current license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) through the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE). Current credential as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) through the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB). Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certification. Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching at the secondary or college level. Experience teaching college level online courses and/or documented successful training in a college online learning management system (e.g. Blackboard, Canvas).
