Job Summary: Workforce Development Community Arts Education Instructors are hired to teach a variety of community education arts courses as needed. This includes but is not limited to courses such as ceramics, creative writing, dance, jewelry making, language, photography, etc. Minimum Qualifications: Associate Degree in Arts or related field, 3+ years prior experience with course art medium, and 2+ years teaching experience (or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job). Licensing Requirements: Required to be compliant with PA Child Protective Service Laws. Hiring Range: 32-37 Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree, 5+ years experience with course art medium, and 3+ years adult education teaching experience. Job Specific Task List: 75% - Facilitate specific arts education instruction and provide students with meaningful feedback on course work - (Essential) 25% - Record attendance and prepare individualized lesson plans - (Essential) Job Type: Non credit Instructor If part time, hours per week: 5-10 Pennsylvania Work Location Requirement: All work, teaching, meetings, and activities related to this position must be performed within the State of Pennsylvania. This position does not offer a remote work option.
