POOL - Self Defense Instructor (Part-time)

Pool Number: F132-18 Announcement Summary This is a continuous recruitment pool not specifically advertised. The pool is continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates. We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings. Instructors will be responsible for teaching weekly or bi-weekly classes on campus to a variety of different populations.Duties The successful candidate will: - Teach face-to face classes on campus (daytime, evenings, and weekends, as necessary) - Complete necessary paperwork - Other educational duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications Certifications and or experience in teaching self defense to a diverse population.Preferred Qualifications Teaching experience at the community college or four-year college. On-line teaching experience.Special Instructions to Applicants NOTE: All applicants under consideration for employment at Fayetteville Technical Community College will be required to complete a consent form that allows FTCC to conduct a criminal background check on your behalf so that you may be considered further for the position for which you have applied.
