Position involves preparing for and teaching courses in Phlebotomy in order to achieve course requirements and student success outcomes. Course assignments may occur in a classroom setting, learning lab, or contracted facility. Specific instruction to include teaching the Phlebotomy curriculum as assigned which may include lecture and laboratory skills training. You will review lesson plans and prepare for class instruction, grade and record assignments, actively promote student retention, and perform related work as required. **This position needed for Phlebotomy program in Mt. Pleasant, MI. Individual with good working relationship with area healthcare labs is a plus.** Examples of DutiesTeaches assigned classroom courses. Develops and updates syllabi for courses assigned and ensures course content and requirements meet the requirements of college and accreditation agencies. Assists with the development of curriculum, policies and procedures to maintain current and effective delivery of course materials. Attends and facilitates the student orientations for incoming students. Develops appropriate assessment tools to determine course effectiveness and assures that student outcomes are achieved. Regularly assess program outcomes to evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
