FLSA Status: Exempt Hours: As determined by department/chair Job Type: Part Time Rank: PTI/Adjunct Campus: Syracuse, NY Unionized Position Code: Not Applicable Job Description: Falk College of Sport seeks a part-time instructor to teach SAL 604 M700 (3 Credits), Econometrics Sport Analytics in Spring 2027- 8 W2 (3/8/2027-4/29/2027). Course Description: The course covers linear regression, modeling techniques, interpretation of regression results, diagnostic tests and corrections for econometric issues, logistic regression, and key sport economic insights. Class meets ONLINE; Asynchronous Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Sport Analytics, Sport Management, Data Science, or a related field with a strong analytics background. Industry experience in business analytics within sport, ideally at the professional or elite collegiate level. Proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis. Familiarity with linear regression, logistic regression, and diagnostic/corrective techniques for common econometric issues (e.g., heteroskedasticity, multicollinearity, autocorrelation). Knowledge of topics such as sport economics, labor markets, and competitive balance Job Specific Qualifications: Responsibilities:Developing and/or updating a class syllabus Preparation of lectures, projects, or other student assignments Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours Presenting instruction based on the competencies
