About this position
Part-Time Faculty - Engineering Technology (South) Teaching Engineering Technology related course work. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an """"as needed"""" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location. Required Education:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology Preferred Education:Master's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology Required Experience:Minimum of three (3) years' work experience in the engineering/engineering technology field. Preferred Experience:More than 3 years' work experience in engineering/engineering technology field Higher education teaching experience Note: Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.
