Part Time Clinical Instructor

About this position

Job Summary: Must be available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The instructional staff is responsible for directing, evaluating, and reporting student progress toward course objectives and periodically reviewing and updating course material. The instructional staff will act as student advisors and develop study plans and advisements as needed to support student academic progress. Instructional staff will report directly to the Program Director and function as a team to meet the needs of the students, program, and campus. Required Qualifications:The Clinical Coordinator must possess an associate's degree in Surgical Technology. Must be a certified surgical technologist (CST) by a national credentialing organization, NBSTSA 3. The clinical instructor must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience, either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the past five (5) years. Work Experience: The clinical instructor must have at least three (3) years of experience in the operating room scrub role, as a surgical technology instructor, or a combination of both, within the past five (5) years. Preferred Qualifications: Certification (NBSTSA, CST) Copy of Transcript (AA Degree or higher) Letter of Introduction Letter(s) of Recommendation (3-4 letters) Resume Special RequirementsSubject to a criminal background check prior to employment.
