Position Overview: The Department of Online Counselor Education, part of the School of Graduate, Global, and Online Education seeks a temporary Adjunct Faculty member for the Spring 2027 semester to teach online graduate courses for a clinical mental health counselor program. Instructors will be contracted to teach courses in the following areas: Introduction to Counseling and Counseling Skills Group Counseling Career Counseling- Research and Program Evaluation in Counseling Multicultural Counseling Counseling Theories and Techniques Ethical, Legal, and Professional Issues in Counseling Human Growth and Development Addiction Counseling: Individual, Family, and Society Psychopathology and Psychopharmacology Clinical Mental Health Counseling Assessment and Diagnostic Processes Case Conceptualization and Treatment Planning Trauma and Crisis Counseling Relational Counseling Play Therapy EMDR DBT Mindfulness and Wellness in Counseling Counseling Co-Occurring Disorders Counseling the Aged Counseling Prevention Principles and Practice Advanced Trauma Human Sexuality Practicum in Counseling Internship I Internship II Responsibilities:Instruct synchronous online courses in counselor education Provide timely feedback on student work
