Salary: $52.64 - $76.43 Hourly Location: All Campuses, Rogue Community College, OR Job Type: Adjunct Faculty Job Number: 02229 Department: Math Opening Date: 09/18/2026 Closing Date 6/30/2027 11:59 PM PacificThis is an adjunct faculty pool for teaching part-time in the Mathematics department. If you qualify, please apply and briefly describe your special area of instruction in your cover letter. This pool will remain open until June 2027 unless positions are no longer needed. Compensation is based on the 26-27 Adjunct Faculty Salary Schedule (Download PDF reader) The instructor is responsible for the planning and implementation of various math courses. Instructors are required to create a course syllabus, instruct students in the subject matter in accordance with that syllabus, maintain attendance records, assess student progress and evaluate course work for a letter grade. The instructor will maintain college standards in all aspects of professionalism, record keeping and instruction within the team atmosphere of the math department of Rogue Community College. Supervision Received The Director is responsible for evaluating faculty under procedures developed by the vice president and collaborates with the Dean and Department Coordinator regarding faculty workload, professional growth, retention, and department staffing decisions.Examples of Duties - Essential Functions Instructs students in a classroom, lab, learning center, or other setting as appropriate following RCC mathematics department curriculum. Prepares, distributes, and utilizes all requisite instructional materials; including course syllabi, supplementary materials, instructional media, and other instructional support material to effectively instruct students.
