Posting Number: 2638 Job Schedule: Part Time Job Shift: Varied, Day, Evening OCR Code / Classification: 2 - Instructor - Faculty Min Salary: $43.65 Max Salary: $48.85 Work Location Main Campus Job Description Summary The LPN-RN Part-time Clinical Nursing Instructor will be responsible for face-to face clinical teaching assignments for transitional students in acute care settings. The hours and shifts for this position are flexible and can vary. The salary for this position will be based on experience and academic credentials. Minimum Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing Note: Degrees and hours must be from a college accredited by a US Department of Education accepted accrediting agency such as SACSCOC. Two years or more of nursing experience. Unrestricted RN license. Work experience and/or teaching experience in medical/surgical nursing. Preferred Qualifications Preferred: Master's Degree in Nursing with a concentration in nursing education . Note: Degrees and hours must be from a college accredited by a US Department of Education accepted accrediting agency such as SACSCOC.** Successful teaching experience. Previous work experience in a fundamentals setting such as hospitals, and/or skilled nursing facilities. Essential Duties Assume responsibility for teaching assignments as recommended by the program coordinator and approved by the director and dean. Assume responsibility for maintaining all required College records including attendance and grade reports, roll books, etc. Facilitate the learning process by designing and implementing instructional activities in clinical that are appropriate, meaningful and that maximize student outcomes. Provides timely, constructive, and thoughtful written/verbal feedback to students regarding clinical paperwork course performance, and progress toward the achievement of learning outcomes.
