Job Summary: The Adjunct Instructor for Political Science serves the integral role of teaching traditional, in-person classes and online courses, guided by CCNS learning outcomes. A successful candidate will treat all students equitably, fairly, and with the focused goal of student success. Duties & Responsibilities: Teaches economics classes in a variety of times through multiple modalities: Online (through Desire2Learn, CCD's LMS platform) In-person (using Desire2Learn as a consistent resource for students) Commands strong teaching skills, and models a student-centered environment to support a diverse student population. Utilizes a course syllabus, following established institutional and departmental guidelines. Creates engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material. Effectively structures classes, curriculum, assignments, and assessments to support course outcomes, program outcomes, and student success. Evaluates students to measure their progress in achieving CCNS course objectives and communicates with students about their progress in a timely and
