Job Summary: The Adjunct Instructor for Medical Assisting supports student success across CCD's Medical Assisting Program. This position is responsible for teaching medical assisting and Phlebotomy courses. This may include lecture, lab and internship courses. Teaching assignments may include online, in-person, daytime and evening course The position reports to the Medical Assisting/Phlebotomy Program Chair and works collaboratively with faculty and staff to align teaching with program outcomes and college expectations. Duties & Responsibilities: Teaching & Instruction Teach assigned Medical Assisting and Phlebotomy courses. Prepare and deliver high-quality instruction aligned with course and program outcomes and program Integrate industry-standard within teaching Maintain required learning management system (D2L) course shells, gradebooks, attendance, and student records. Provide timely, constructive, equity-minded feedback using clear and supportive communication practices.
