About this position
The Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry is seeking a new academic faculty member at the Assistant Professor level, Candidate should be interested in playing a major role in the academic ventures of the division, specifically research, This candidate will be responsible for seeing patients two half days per week and the remainder of the time will be dedicated to research , The Division has tripled in size over the past five years and wishes to continue expansion of all clinical and academic programs, Thus, the University of Rochester offers an exciting opportunity for clinicians interested in academic endocrinology, The University of Rochester has a strong commitment to principles of diversity and, in that spirit, actively encourages applications from groups underrepresented in higher education. Candidates must possess MD degree or equivalent and be eligible for a New York medical license and should have fellowship training in Endocrinology and be board-certified or board eligible in Endocrinology. Post offer Drug Screen, Health Assessment and PPD is required. Qualifications: M.D. Degree or equivalent Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry Must meet all credentialing requirements Eligible for Board Certification in Endocrinology Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required Compliance with University and New York State health requirements
