Faculty- Anesthesiology Department:SOM Wichita Anesthesiology * Anesthesiology Position Title: Faculty- Anesthesiology Job Family Group: Academic Job Description Summary: This faculty member will provide supervision/education of residents and medical students in the field of interventional pain management within the department of Anesthesiology. Rank is dependent on qualifications. Assistant Professor or higher. Job Description: Job Duties Outlined:Provide clinical supervision of residents and medical students with significant involvement with each resident assigned to service. Attend GMEC committees, conferences, etc. as requested by the Chair or Program Director. Participate in ad hoc GME activities. Complete monthly resident evaluations within 1 week of the end of their rotation. Complete monthly timesheets as required by WCGME. Attend three or more M&M conferences annually. Attend three or more Journal Clubs annually. Provide a minimum of 2 resident lectures annually. Participate in semi-annual CCC process. Participate in one or more mock orals annually. Mentor 1 resident annually.
