Overview The Business department offers pathways to students for Business Direct Transfer Agreement, Business Administration (Certificate or Associate in Technical Arts), Bookkeeping Certificate, Accounting Associate in Technical Arts, and Bachelor of Applied Science in Accounting. Examples of courses taught include:ECON 101: Understanding Economics ECON& 201: Microeconomics ECON& 202: Macroeconomics TITLE:Economics Associate Faculty SALARY: $20,485/quarter at 100% course load/1.0 FTE* WORKLOAD:Varies by quarterly assignment SCHEDULE: Varies by quarterly assignment UNION:AFT DIVISION:Instruction REPORTS TO: Associate Dean of Business POSITION NUMBER: 00021997 This position may be eligible for hybrid work, per Everett Community College'sTelework Policy *Assignments vary in credits/load. For example, one 5 credit lecture course would be 33.33% course load. Additional compensation may be available for courses that meet high wage / high demand criteria. Duties & Responsibilities TeachingFoster an equitable, anti-racist, and culturally inclusive learning environment and demonstrate an awareness of the experiences and needs of the current student population. Develop curriculum, prepare, modify and deliver teaching/learning activities designed to maximize student learning and foster inclusive excellence.
