Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback, and mentor students toward academic and clinical success. Collaborate with clinical partners to review learning objectives and evaluate clinical learning environments. Prepare course materials and syllabi aligned with approved curriculum, and maintain accurate attendance, progress, and grading records. Foster a respectful, accessible, student-centered learning environment. Meet college, LCTC, and accreditation requirements, including required training, professional development, and reporting deadlines. Required Qualifications:A master's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution; or a bachelor's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution with intent to enroll in an MSN program within two years of employment. A current, unencumbered Louisiana RN license. At least two years of clinical practice as a registered nurse. Pediatric nursing experience. Strong instructional, communication, organizational, and computer skills, with a commitment to student success. Preferred Qualifications:College-level teaching experience in nursing is preferred. Schedule & Expectations:Assignments may include evening or weekend instruction and out-of-town clinical travel. Mileage is reimbursed according to Louisiana Travel Policy guidelines. Be available by phone or email to respond to student questions within 24 hours on workdays and 48 hours on weekends, consistent with division procedures.
