Supervise and evaluate students in clinical settings, helping them develop critical thinking and nursing skills. Provide timely, constructive feedback, mentor students, and connect those who need additional support with college resources. Collaborate with clinical partners to review learning objectives and evaluate clinical learning environments. Prepare course materials and syllabi aligned with approved curriculum; maintain accurate attendance, progress, and grading records. Create a respectful, accessible learning environment and meet college, LCTC, and accreditation requirements. Required Qualifications:A master's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution; or a bachelor's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution with intent to enroll in an MSN program within two years of employment. A current, unencumbered Louisiana RN license. At least two years of clinical practice as a registered nurse. Relevant specialty experience for assignments in obstetrics, pediatrics, or mental health. Strong communication, organization, instructional, and computer skills-and a student-centered approach. Preferred Qualifications:College-level nursing teaching experience is preferred. Schedule & Expectations:Evening and/or weekend clinical assignments; some assignments may require out-of-town travel. Mileage is reimbursed according to Louisiana Travel Policy guidelines. Respond to student questions within 24 hours on workdays and 48 hours on weekends, consistent with division procedures. Complete required training, professional development, and academic reporting by established deadlines.
