Adjunct, Stern College Job No: 498781 Work Type: Faculty Part-time Department: Stern College for Women Location: Beren Campus, 245 Lexington Avenue, NY, NY, New York Position Summary: Stern College for Women is seeking adjunct instructors for a variety of academic departments in our midtown Manhattan location. Courses are offered in fall and spring semesters. Position Responsibilities: Teach up to two undergraduate courses in-person up to twice a week, in one or more of the following areas: Art History and Studio Arts Biology Chemistry Computer Science Economics English History Jewish Studies Mathematics Philosophy Physics Political Science Psychology Sociology Speech Pathology & Audiology Statistics Other position responsibilities: Administration of all exams Grade all exams and assignments by university deadlines Meet and mentor students Experience & Educational Background: Graduate-level degree in a related field Experience teaching undergraduate students preferred Skills & Competencies: Experience teaching undergraduate students Application Instructions: CV, cover letter, and 2 references and their contact information, or 2 letters of reference.
