Responsibilities:The Humanities Department at New York Institute of Technology is seeking a part-time writing instructor to teach on the Long Island (Old Westbury, NY) or New York City (New York, NY) campuses beginning in Spring 2027. Teach in-person and/or online (asynchronous) undergraduate writing courses, including first-year composition and research writing. Qualifications: M.A. in English, or closely related field. Previous successful college-level teaching experience, including online courses. Familiarity with Canvas or similar learning management systems.
