FLSA: Exempt Contract Length: N/A Class Summary: The Continuing Education Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Instructor is responsible for delivering non-credit workforce training programs in Quality Assurance and Quality Control. The instructor provides classroom, laboratory, and hands-on instruction that prepares adult learners for employment or advancement in manufacturing, construction, petrochemical, energy, healthcare, and other quality-driven industries. Instruction emphasizes practical application of quality principles, industry standards, inspection methods, and quality management systems. Position Type: Adjunct Position Funding: Regular Minimum Education/Training/Experience Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Quality Management, Construction Technology, or a closely related technical field required. Minimum of five (5) years of recent industry experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, manufacturing, construction, petrochemical, energy, healthcare, or a related technical field.Preferred Education/Training/Experience Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred. Quality Assurance (TQM/Statistical Process Control) Relevant industry certifications are strongly preferred, including one or more of the following: ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Experience in CWI, API 510/570, Ultrasonics, Radiographic Film Interpretation, Magnetic Particle/Liquid Penetrant, Minimum Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 standards. Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control principles and practices.
