Carnegie Mellon University: Heinz College Location: Los Angeles, CA Description: The Master of Entertainment Industry Management (MEIM) program at Carnegie Mellon University seeks an instructor to teach Video Game Strategy: Economics, Growth and Innovation, a course examining the video game industry through a broad business, economic, and strategic lens. The course explores how the rapidly evolving games sector creates, captures, and distributes value, with particular attention to monetization and revenue models, audience and market growth, platform economics, consolidation, intellectual property, regulation and policy, technological disruption, and emerging business models. Students will examine how shifts in technology, consumer behavior, competition, and the broader entertainment landscape are reshaping the industry and creating new opportunities and challenges for companies and industry leaders. Ideal candidates will bring significant expertise in the business, legal, economic, strategic, or policy dimensions of the video game industry and the ability to connect major industry trends and disruptions to practical management decisions. Salary Range: $2500-3000/ Note course number already exists 93-860 - though course title will change Qualifications: Master or JD degree preferred
