Employment Type: Adjunct | Part-Time | Contract Location: Remote (USA) Academic Rank: Adjunct Instructor / Lecturer Time: Evening hours (US Time Zones) Compensation: $50 to $80/hour (Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience and will be finalized after the interview.) About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Adjunct Faculty member to teach undergraduate-level Search for Faith (THEO 10000). The ideal candidate should possess strong academic credentials in Theology or Religious Studies and be capable of engaging students in the study of faith traditions, religious thought, spirituality, and their relevance in contemporary society. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging live online classes aligned with U.S. time zones (Evening hours). Facilitate student learning through effective instruction and meaningful classroom engagement. Teach foundational concepts in Theology, Religious Studies, faith traditions, and ethical reflection. Maintain academic quality standards and ensure timely course delivery. Note: This position is focused solely on instructional delivery. Grading, curriculum development, assessment design, and content creation are managed separately. Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Divinity, Biblical Studies, Christian Studies, Ministry, or a closely related religious discipline. Minimum 5 years of college or university-level teaching experience. Demonstrated experience teaching Theology, Religion, Faith Studies, or related undergraduate courses. Strong subject matter expertise and ability to engage students in an online learning environment. Preferred Qualifications: Ph. D., D.Min., or other terminal degree in Theology or a related religious discipline. Experience teaching online or hybrid courses. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
