We believe in giving back to our community, and our employees take pride in working at Peace.Department: Humanities Purpose of Department The Department of Humanities is a multi-disciplinary department which provides an immersive, hands-on learning experience for Traditional Undergraduate and Peace Online students.Summary of Position William Peace University is continuously seeking qualified scholars for adjunct faculty positions in the Philosophy discipline who have demonstrated commitment to the promotion of interdisciplinary work and teaching excellence and who possess a collaborative leadership style. The successful candidate should have knowledge of and experience in their selected teaching discipline, as well as experience with and the ability to use instructional technologies to support classroom activities. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed as vacancies arise within the department.Essential duties and responsibilities Teaching assignments would include lecture instruction in courses for the Department of Humanities in the Philosophy discipline. Assignments may include classroom courses, online distance-education courses, or both.
