Job Summary: This position works collaboratively with other mathematics faculty and instructors in a diverse, urban setting and reports directly to the co-chairs of the mathematics department. Effective interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills are essential. CCD seeks instructors with strong teaching skills to engage its diverse students using an array of instructional methods and tools (e.g. project-based learning, flipped classroom, innovative use of technology, implementation of open educational resources, competency-based education, etc.). The college encourages creativity and supports instructors to implement cutting-edge methods to improve student learning.
