The School of Online and Professional Studies at Husson University invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty pool. This posting will remain open for a 90-day period to establish a pool of qualified candidates who may be considered for future online teaching or course development opportunities. Applications are reviewed as instructional and course development needs arise during the posting period. After the posting closes, applications may continue to be reviewed from the established pool based on departmental needs. Teaching and course development assignments are dependent upon factors such as student enrollment, program needs, course scheduling, and institutional priorities. Example of DutiesHusson University is seeking dynamic individuals to teach online courses in General Healthcare Systems, Management & Field Experience. Course instructors are content experts who focus on providing an elite educational experience for learners to improve their skill level and knowledge. Candidates with demonstrated expertise and professional experience in healthcare systems management and field experience are encouraged to apply: Relevant Professional Experience should include demonstrated professional experience working within the U.S. healthcare system as a clinician, healthcare administrator, or health manager; an applied background in healthcare operations, leadership, or organizational management. For internship supervision, hands-on administrative or clinical workplace experience in healthcare settings is required. QualificationsA Masters or Doctoral degree in Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or a related discipline (doctoral degree preferred).
