Pay: $50.00–$100.00 per hour Employment Type: Adjunct | Part-Time | Contract Location: Remote (USA) Academic Rank: Adjunct Instructor / Lecturer Teaching Time: Evening hours (6:30 PM to 8 PM EDT) Note: Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's academic qualifications, relevant teaching experience, and subject matter expertise following the interview. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Adjunct Faculty member to teach ECED 20400 – Math and Science Activities for the Young Child in an online learning environment. The ideal candidate should be passionate about early childhood education and able to deliver engaging instruction that helps future educators integrate age-appropriate mathematics and science concepts into early learning environments. Course ECED 20400 – Math and Science Activities for the Young Child Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging live online classes during U.S. evening hours. Facilitate student learning through interactive and practical instruction. Connect early childhood theory with classroom applications. Maintain academic quality and ensure timely course delivery. Note: This position focuses solely on instructional delivery. Grading, curriculum development, assessment design, and content creation are managed separately. Required Qualifications Master's degree or higher in: Early Childhood Education Elementary Education Curriculum & Instruction Education Child Development or a closely related discipline. Minimum 5 years of college or university-level teaching experience. Demonstrated experience teaching Early Childhood Education or closely related courses. Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate math and science instruction for young children. Experience teaching undergraduate students. Excellent online teaching and communication skills.
