It is the applicant's responsibility to have foreign transcripts evaluated by an authorized evaluation services (See NACES link for details http://www.naces.org/members.htm) Job Type: Non-Credit Adjunct Contract Type: Part-Time Temporary with no specific end date Compensation: $27.50 or $33.50 (dependent on experience and class instructing) RESPONSIBILITIES:Establish course goals Observe college policies and procedures Demonstrate commitment to professional development Be able to work effectively to meet the needs of diverse student populations EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Applicant must possess a State of Florida Criminal Justice Standards & Training Commission Certification or meet the elgibility for CJSTC exemption. Experince Requirements: Must have a minimum of five years subject area experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills and teaching experience required. Proven ability to work effectively and safely with students, faculty and staff in hostile environments and hazardous situations.
